Heater Lockout Switch: Description and Operation

An engine coolant temperature switch controls a cold engine lock out function when the EATC system is set for automatic operation. During lock out, the fan will not operate until engine coolant temperature reaches the point where the temperature of air being discharged from the floor outlets rises to a minimum of 100°.
