Radio, Stereo, and Compact Disc: Service and Repair

When installing radio, ensure to adjust antenna trimmer for peak performance.
1. Disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Install radio removal tool No. T87P-19061-A or equivalent into radio face plate, push tool in approximately one inch to release retaining clips.
4. Apply a light spreading force on tools and slowly pull radio from instrument panel.
5. Disconnect wiring connectors and antenna cable.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Rearm airbag as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.
