Owner Notification Program 92M77 Supplement # 1 - Additional Units

The purpose of this supplement is to advise you that Owner Notification Program 92M77 is being expanded to include 1992 and 1993 model year Taurus/Sable and Continental cars equipped with 3.8L engines. Owners of affected cars will be notified by first class mail.

The 1992-1993 affected cars are eligible for this program through July 31, 1996 regardless of mileage. After July 31, 1996 coverage for these cars is for 6 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from original warranty start date.

Refer to Owner Notification Program 92M77, dated March 25, 1992 for technical instructions, labor allowances and part requirements (use installation procedures and labor allowances specified for 1991 model units). Refer to claims preparation instructions in this bulletin.
