POSSIBLE CAUSE ACTION

Air cleaner restricted Check intake air temperature system.



EGR malfunction, valve staying open,
solenoid malfunction, leaking gaskets 1. Check EGR system.
If OK, proceed to step 2
2. Check EGR electronic controls.
