Parts Replacement Notes

NOTE: When replacing an air bag, a prepaid return postcard is provided with the replacement air bag module. The serial number for the new part and vehicle VIN number must be recorded and sent to Ford Motor Co.

The various major assemblies in the air bag system have been designed to be tamper-resistant and are not to be disassembled for service.

NOTE: Do not attempt to replace air bag cover with a RH finish panel assembly.

Component may be removed and replaced as required.
