System Deactivation Procedures

Tools Required:
- Rotunda Air Bag Simulator 105-00010

1. Disconnect positive battery cable.
2. Remove four nut and washer assemblies retaining driver air bag module to steering wheel.
3. Disconnect driver air bag module connector.
4. Open glove compartment and rotate all the way down, past the stops.
5. Disconnect passenger air bag connector, if equipped.





WARNING: IF VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH OPTIONAL PASSENGER AIR BAG, BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER AIR BAG MODULES MUST BE DISCONNECTED

6. Attach Rotunda Air Bag Simulator 105-00010 or equivalent to air bag terminals on clockspring assembly to simulate the air bag.





7. Attach Rotunda Air Bag Simulator tool to air bag terminals on the wiring harness side of passenger air bag module connector, if equipped.
8. Connect positive battery cable.
