EF7 Component Check

^ The previous steps have verified that the vehicle wiring harness is not the cause of the short. Here are two possible causes that must now be checked (air compressor relay or control module). In order to determine which one is causing the short the following is required:

^ Turn air suspension switch to OFF position.

^ Reconnect air suspension control module to vehicle wiring harness.

^ Turn air suspension switch to ON position.

^ Repeat Service Bay Diagnostics without reconnecting air compressor relay connected to the vehicle wiring harness.

NOTE: This test procedure will generate extra error codes because the air compressor relay is not connected to vehicle wiring harness.

^ Did STAR Test display code 45 again?

YES -- TURN air suspension switch to OFF position. REPLACE air suspension control module. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NO -- REPLACE air compressor relay. REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics
