EG1 Star Code 46 Short In Height Sensor Power Supply Circuit

^ The air suspension control module had detected a short in circuit used to provide power to the air suspension height sensors. There are six possible causes of this short which are listed below:

^ B+ power supply circuit is shorted to ground.

^ Vehicle wiring harness has 5+ power supply circuit and ground return circuit in wrong location.

^ Left front height sensor is inoperative.

^ Right front height sensor is inoperative.

^ Rear height sensor is inoperative.

^ Air suspension control module inoperative.

^ The three height sensors on the vehicle have a common B+ power supply circuit coming out of the air suspension control module. For this reason the following test procedure will be used to locate the cause of the short.
