GB12 Component Check Strut Assembly Check

GB12 COMPONENT CHECK STRUT ASSEMBLY CHECK

^ Remove known good left front actuator and exchange places with suspected right front actuator.

^ Install and reconnect two shock actuators to vehicle shocks and wiring harness.

^ Repeat Service Bay Diagnostics.

^ Did STAR tester display a code 57 and/or 61?

YES -- SERVICE right front shock/strut assembly for binding (force required to switch from SOFT to FIRM). REPEAT Service Bay Diagnostics. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

NO -- The problem of not switching to desired position may have been due to actuator not being properly mounted to strut and is now corrected.
