GC4 Component Check Actuate to Soft Position

GC4 COMPONENT CHECK ACTUATE TO SOFT POSITION

^ Use a 12 volt power supply and connect negative lead to actuator Pin 4 and positive lead to Pin 3 for 1 to 2 seconds. This procedure should drive actuator to SOFT position. After this has been done remove power supply leads.

^ Using an analog ohmmeter. Measure resistance across actuator Pin 1 and Pin 2.

^ Ohmmeter reading is:

10,000 ohms or greater -- GO to GC5.

5 ohms or less -- GO to GC13.
