HC5 Vent Solenoid Valve Component Check

^ Raise vehicle hood.

^ Release STAR test button so that it remains in the up HOLD position after code 21 has been displayed for at least 5 seconds.

NOTE: As long as STAR test button is in the up HOLD position the selected Functional Test will continue. The Vent Solenoid Valve Toggle test is used to verity that the air suspension control module can activate the vent solenoid valve by cycling it ON and OFF continuously until STAR test button is depressed down again.

^ Air compressor assembly vent solenoid is:

Cycling on/off continuously -- DEPRESS STAR test continuously button so that it remains in the down TEST position. This action will stop Vent Solenoid Valve Toggle functional teat since it is no longer required. Then GO to HC11.

Vent solenoid remains off -- GO to HC6.
