HD26 Component Check (Solenoid Valve Operation Check)

^ In order to determine if the left rear air spring solenoid valve is operational, the following actions are required:

^ Make sure that air line and vehicle electrical wiring harness connector are connected to the removed left rear air spring solenoid valve.

^ Release STAR test button so that it remains in the HOLD position after code 28 has been displayed for at least 5 seconds.

^ Is left rear air spring solenoid valve passing air through it?

NO -- DEPRESS STAR test button down so that it remains in the TEST position. INSTALL a new left rear air spring solenoid valve, REINFLATE air spring before setting weight on tire. Then GO to HD27.

YES -- DEPRESS STAR test button down so that it remains in the TEST position. Then GO to HD27.
