Floor Console

REMOVAL






1. Remove filler assembly by lifting up and then pulling rearward.
2. Remove cupholder.






3. Remove console top finish panel screw.






4. Remove console top finish panel by lifting up near the rear (under armrests).
5. Remove one base to A/C plenum hex flanged tap screw.
6. Remove two base-to-front bracket retaining screws.
7. Remove two base-to-center bracket retaining screws.
8. Remove mat from rear storage bin and remove two base-to-rear bracket retaining screws.






9. Remove console base.

NOTE: While lifting console base out, it may be necessary to disconnect wiring connector to the shift control selector lever and housing.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse Removal procedure.
2. Tighten floor bracket screws and top finish panel screw to 1.4-2.0 Nm (12-18 in lbs).
3. Tighten console to A/C plenum hex flanged tap screw to 1.2-2.2 Nm (11-18 in lbs).
