- Key "OFF".

- Flexible Fuel (FF) sensor connected.

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connected.

- Rotunda Megameter or equivalent connected to the breakout box.

- Key "ON".

- Observe and record the frequency value displayed by the meter.

Mixture To Frequency Chart:

- Using the chart above, determine and record the frequency range for the percent of methanol value calculated in DE9.

- Does the FF sensor output signal have a frequency corresponding to the percent methanol value calculated in DE9?

Yes -- Remove breakout box. Replace the PCM. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)

No -- Remove breakout box. Replace the FF sensor. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
