HB4 - Fuel Delivery Test

- Key "OFF".

- Fuel pressure gauge installed.

- Pressurize fuel system per step HB2.

- Locate and disconnect the Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch.

- Crank engine for five seconds.

- Does pressure drop greater than 34 kPa (5 psi) by the end of the five second crank cycle?

Yes -- The Electronic Engine Controls (EEC) system is not the cause of the no start. Remove the fuel pressure gauge. Reconnect the IFS switch. Refer to Diagnosis by Symptom (Diagnostic Routines) for further diagnosis.

No -- Remove fuel pressure gauge. Reconnect IFS switch. Go to HB6.
