The Control Module has not received a signal that vehicle speed was above 24 km/h (15 mph) during the Drive Cycle Diagnostic test. There are five possible causes for this which are listed:
1. Vehicle was not driven above 24 km/h (15 mph) during Drive Cycle Diagnostics.
2. Battery Positive Voltage (B+) power circuit of Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) circuit has an open or short in it.
3. Ground return circuit of VSS has an open in it.
4. VSS may be inoperative.
5. Control Module may be inoperative.
