No 2-3 Shift (Automatic)

NO 2-3 SHIFT
1. Governor weights binding.
2. Governor springs and gear damaged.
3. Governor shaft seal or valve stuck or missing.
4. Governor tube leaking or missing.
5. Low-intermediate servo apply rod too long.
6. Low-intermediate servo bore or piston damaged.
7. Low-intermediate servo piston seals damaged or missing.
8. Low-intermediate servo return spring or retaining clip missing or broken.
9. Direct clutch plates damaged or missing.
10. Direct clutch piston or seals damaged.
11. Direct clutch check ball assembly stuck or missing.
12. Direct clutch cylinder damaged.
13. Direct-intermediate clutch hub seals damaged or missing.
14. Direct-intermediate clutch hub holes blocked.
15. Driven sprocket support seals damaged or missing.
16. Driven sprocket support holes blocked.
17. Direct one-way clutch assembly cage, rollers, or springs damaged.
18. Direct one-way clutch assembly rollers missing.
19. Direct one-way clutch assembly inner race improperly assembled.
20. Control assembly attaching bolts incorrectly torqued.
21. 2-3 shift valve stuck, nicked, or damaged.
22. Number 4 check ball missing.
23. Bypass solenoid not energized during wide open throttle upshift.
24. Case servo release passage blocked.
25. Servo release tube leaking or improperly installed.
26. Direct clutch pressure tap plug loose or missing.
27. Shift solenoid No. 2 inoperative.
28. Powertrain Control Module (PCM) inoperative.
29. No. 3 and No. 8 check balls missing.
