Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Always disconnect the battery ground cable prior to work on the electronic controls or damage to the electronic component may occur.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the intake manifold.







3. Disconnect the Knock Sensor (KS) connector.







4. Remove the nut and the knock sensor.







INSTALLATION
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
