Ambient Light Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to Battery.







2. Remove the RH and LH windshield side garnish mouldings.







3. Remove the instrument panel defroster opening grille assembly.

CAUTION: To avoid damaging the photocell and amplifier electrical connector, lift the instrument panel defroster opening grille assembly only enough to expose the connector.







4. Remove the photocell and amplifier.
1 Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Release the two retaining clips.
3 Remove the photocell and amplifier.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
