Removal and Installation

CAUTION: Prior to removal of the DSM, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once it is installed. Refer to Information Bus (Module Communications Network).

1. Remove the driver seat.
2. Remove the 2 DSM screws.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector and the DSM.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Once the module is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module.
