Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS)

PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) PARAMETER RESET

1. Connect the diagnostic tool.
2. Key in the ON position.
3. CARRY OUT the security access procedure for the instrument cluster or the PCM.

4. NOTE: DO NOT carry out the ignition key code erase.

Enter the following mode on the diagnostic tool: Parameter Reset.

5. Key in the OFF position.
6. Key in the ON position for a minimum of 3 seconds.
7. Enter the following mode on the diagnostic tool: CLEAR DTCs.
8. Key in the OFF position.
