TEST A: DTC C1924 - VARIABLE ASSIST POWER STEERING (VAPS) SOLENOID ACTUATOR OUTPUT SHORT TO GROUNDNormal Operation
The front electronic module (FEM) sends the variable assist power steering (VAPS) solenoid a pulse width modulated (PWM) current through circuit 8-CE9 (WH/GN). The VAPS solenoid sends a feedback voltage to the FEM module, depending on the power steering assist demand, through circuit 9-CE9 (BN/GN).
