Normal Operation
The antenna receives AM/FM audio signals and transmits the signals (through the antenna cable) to the antenna module. The antenna module processes the signal and transmits it to the audio unit. The suppression capacitors and ground straps reduce radio interference from the charging and ignition system by acting as a buffer for voltage spikes and minimizing electro-magnetic interference caused by system components such as the generator.
