NOTE: For vehicles equipped with memory mirrors, GO to Pinpoint Test D. Test D: The Memory Mirror Is Inoperative

Normal Operation
The exterior mirror control switch uses circuits 540 (RD), 541 (DB) and 542 (YE) to control LH exterior mirror movement. For the RH exterior mirror, the exterior mirror switch uses circuits 543 (DG), 544 (VT) and 542 (YE) to control the exterior mirror movement.

Mirror Movement
- When ground is received through circuit 540 (RD)/543 (DG) and power through circuit 542 (YE), the LH/RH exterior mirror will operate LEFT.
- When power is received through circuit 540 (RD)/543 (DG) and ground through circuit 542 (YE), the LH/RH exterior mirror will operate RIGHT.
- When ground is received through circuit 541 (DB)/544 (VT) and power through circuit 542 (YE), the LH/RH exterior mirror will operate DOWN.
- When power is received through circuit 541 (DB)/544 (VT) and ground through circuit 542 (YE), the LH/RH exterior mirror will operate UP.

Possible Causes
- Open in circuits 540 (RD), 541 (DB), 543 (DG) or 544 (VT)
- Inoperative exterior mirror control switch
- Inoperative exterior mirror motor
