PINPOINT TEST E: THE ILLUMINATED ENTRY IS INOPERATIVE WHEN USING THE REMOTE TRANSMITTER/KEYPAD

Normal Operation
When the UNLOCK button is pressed on the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter, or the unlock code is entered on the remote keypad, a signal is sent to the vehicle security module. The vehicle security module then sends a request to the instrument cluster to activate the interior lamps.
