Removal and Installation
All vehicles
1. Remove the 3 screws, pull out to release the top retaining clips and remove the lower steering column opening cover.
Vehicles with power tilt
2. Remove the 3 screws and the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
^ Disconnect the power tilt switch electrical connector.
Vehicles with manual tilt
3. If equipped, release the tabs and slide the gear selector cover away from the steering column shrouds.
4. Remove the 3 screws and the upper and lower steering column shrouds.
All vehicles
5. Disconnect the multi-function switch electrical connector.
6. Remove the 2 screws and the multi-function switch.
^ To install, tighten to 1 Nm (9 lb-inch).
7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
