Pinpoint Test B: The Alarm System Does Not Arm/Disarm - Using The Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT) Key

Normal Operation

The Smart Junction Box (SJB) receives lock/unlock commands from the Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT) key. The SJB then arms/disarms the perimeter alarm system.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:

- IKT system concern
- Anti-theft system concern

PINPOINT TEST B: THE ALARM SYSTEM DOES NOT ARM/DISARM - USING THE IKT KEY

NOTE: All IKT keys must be present before diagnosing the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system.

B1 CHECK THE ALARM SYSTEM USING THE DRIVER DOOR DISARM SWITCH

- Arm the alarm system using the driver door lock control switch.
- Disarm the alarm system using the driver door disarm switch.
- Does the alarm system arm and disarm correctly?

Yes
REFER to Locks to continue the diagnosis of the IKT keys.
