Controller Area Network (CAN)

This vehicle utilizes a communication system called a Controller Area Network (CAN). When diagnosing the memory seat or climate controlled seat, use Vehicle Communication Module (VCM) and Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) software with appropriate hardware, or equivalent scan tool with the latest software update with the capability of communicating over the CAN communication bus.
