Hood: Adjustments

Hood Alignment

1. Open the hood.

2. Loosen the LH and RH rear lower hinge-to-body bolt to the point that the hood will have slight movement.

3. Loosen the LH and RH front lower hinge-to-body bolt to the point that the hood will have slight movement.

4. Adjust the hood to align the hood to fender fit.

5. Carefully close the hood, maintaining the hood-to-fender fit and tighten the LH and RH rear lower hinge bolts.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).


6. Carefully open the hood and tighten the LH and RH front lower hinge bolts.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).


7. NOTE: The hood adjusting bumpers are located in the hood panel.
Adjust the hood bumper so the hood panel fits flush to the fenders.
