Chain Case, Oil Pan & Crankshaft Pulley

1. Install vibration reducing stiffener, torque attaching bolts to specifications.
2. Install oil strainer with a new gasket onto the chain cover, torque attaching bolt to specifications.
3. Install chain cover onto the cylinder block with new gaskets, torque to specifications.
4. Torque oil strainer stay bolt to specifications.
5. Remove any old sealant from the oil pan bolts and bolt holes.
6. Apply a continuous bead of silicon sealant to the oil pan along the inside of the bolt holes, and overlap the ends.
7. Install the oil pan, torque attaching bolts to specifications.
8. Install crankshaft pulley, washer and bolt.
9. Torque lock bolt to specifications.
