A. Installation of Solenoid Valve Assem. & Vacuum Tube Assembly

1. Remove vent cap from solenoid valve.





2. Connect the 3 vacuum hoses (a, b and c) of the vacuum tube assembly (3) to the solenoid valve assembly (2) as shown.

3. Install the solenoid valve assembly using the nut (5) at the position shown. If the vehicle is equipped with auto cruise control, install the solenoid valve assembly on the auto cruise cable bracket using double nuts.

4. Route vacuum hoses (a and b) to the throttle body as shown.

5. Disconnect the original vacuum hose from the throttle body and connect the vacuum hose (a) to the throttle body.

6. Attach hose connector (d) to the head of the blue-marked vacuum hose (b) and connect the original vacuum hose to the connector (d).





7. Faster vacuum hoses (a and b) to the accelerator cable together with the master back vacuum hose using band (4) as shown.





8. Remove the 2 hoses from the vacuum chamber. Cut a 10 mm portion out of the vacuum hose that does not have a check valve. Make this cut 15 mm from each hose clamp. This is where the T-joint hose connector will be installed. See illustration.

9. Attach the T-joint hose connector (e) to the vacuum hose (c) and insert the connector (e) firmly to the ends of the cut hoses as shown.

10. Reinstall the hoses to the vacuum chamber.
