^ If there is a poor ground, the engine may not start.

Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) / Transmission Control Indicator Lamp (TCIL)
^ If the circuit is open, the MIL / TCIL will not illuminate with the ignition switch ON.
If the circuit is shorted, the MIL / TCIL will not go off after the engine is started.
