(Built-In PATS Module) With V9.0 NGS - PATS Type E





NOTE:

^ To replace PCM, you must program the new PCM with old PCM's "As Built Data" information.

^ Requires two (2) keys with correct key cut and replacement PCM.

1. Disconnect the vehicle battery.

NOTE:
Vehicle battery must be disconnected when replacing a PCM Module, or proper initialization will not occur automatically.

2. Install new PCM.

3. Verify ignition key is OFF, and reapply vehicle battery power.

4. Using v9.0 NGS, connect to DLC and turn key to ON position.

5. Select the following in the NGS menu:

a. Correct vehicle/engine

b. Diagnostic Data Link

c. PATS

d. Function Tests

e. Enter Security Access (10 minute delay)

f. Ignition Key Code Erase

NOTE:
Do not perform any other selections.

6. Turn ignition key OFF and disconnect DLC. Wait 10 seconds before beginning next step.

7. Cycle Key1 in ignition to ON (leave in ON position for at least 3 seconds).

8. Cycle Key2 in ignition to ON (leave in ON position for at least 3 seconds).

9. Start vehicle.

10. Program additional keys using Spare Key Programming Procedure.
