PINPOINT TEST 8: THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) WARNING INDICATOR IS NEVER ONNormal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the ABS input from the ABS module through control circuit (L/O). When an ABS concern exists or the ABS module is disconnected, the ABS module removes the ground on the control circuit and the instrument cluster turns on the ABS warning indicator.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- ABS module
- Instrument cluster
