PINPOINT TEST 19: DTC U0155 OR DTC U0155:00

Normal Operation

The Global Positioning System Module (GPSM) receives network messages from the Instrument Cluster (IC) via the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN).

- DTC U0155 (Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IC) Module) - set by the non-navigation Audio Control Module (ACM) when the messages are missing from the IC for greater than 5 seconds. When the signal is lost, the ACM turns the speed sensitive volume feature off.
- DTC U0155:00 (Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IC) Control Module) - set by the ACM and GPSM when the messages are missing from the IC for greater than 5 seconds. When the signal is lost, the ACM turns the speed sensitive volume feature off.
