Barometric Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. Start the engine and run it at idle speed.
2. Connect a voltmeter to the vacuum sensor L terminal, Fig. 19, and take a reading. Normal voltage is approximately 1 volt.
3. In the above condition, disconnect the vacuum sensing tube from the vacuum sensor. The reading should the change to approximately 4 volts.
