Vehicle Damage Warnings
1. Always use 12-volt batteries as a power source.
2. Do not attempt to disconnect the battery cables while the engine is running.
3. Handle all fuel injection related parts with care as they may easily be damaged.
4. NEVER apply battery power directly to a component unless told to do so in a test procedure.
5. Before removing any parts, turn off ignition and disconnect battery ground cable.
6. Keep EFI harness at least 10 cm (4 inches) away from adjacent harnesses.
7. Do not operate the fuel pump without fuel in the lines.
8. Do not try to disassemble the control unit.
9. Do not depress the accelerator pedal while trying to start the car.
6. When replacing or servicing any fuel system part, be sure to observe the following:
a. Put a "CAUTION: FLAMMABLE" sign in the workshop.
b. Be sure to furnish the shop with proper fire extinguishing equipment.
c. Be sure to disconnect battery ground cable before any service work is done.
d. Put any drained fuel in an explosion-proof container and put the lid on securely.
