Modified CPU and Printed Circuit Board:

DESCRIPTION

The printed circuit board inside the CPU on 1986 RX-7s now has a modified capacitor. This change is to prevent the possibility of the turn signals remaining on for an extra 2 to 3 seconds before going off. This condition could occur on early production vehicles only during the first time the signals are activated after the car has not been used for 12 hours or more.

Should the customer complain about the turn signals remaining on too long, replace the printed circuit board inside the CPU which controls the turn signals. It is NOT necessary to replace the entire CPU.
