SUBJECT Spark Plugs.



DESCRIPTION

The 1986 RX-7 uses surface discharge type spark plugs. When cleaning the spark plugs, follow the cleaning procedure shown below. Do not use conventional types of abrasive spark plug cleaners because sand may remain inside the plug and later cause damage to the engine.



CLEANING PROCEDURE

1. Use a wire brush to clean the spark plug.

2. Use compressed air to blow away any carbon particles or fuel.
