Component Tests and General Diagnostics
1. Raise and support vehicle with jack stands.2. Fill reservoir with brake fluid, ensure reservoir is at least half full at all times during bleeding procedure.
3. After removing bleeder cap, connect one end of transparent vinyl tube to bleeder and place other end in a container that is half full with brake fluid.
4. One person should depress pedal a few times, then hold the pedal depressed.
5. A second person should loosen the bleeder screw and drain fluid, then retighten screw.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until there are no more air bubbles seen.
7. After being finished, ensure there are no fluid leaks at bleeders, and add brake fluid to master cylinder to specified level.
