Heater Core: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain engine coolant, then disconnect heater hoses at heater core inlet and outlet.
3. Remove instrument panel, refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Instrument Panel/Service and Repair.
4. Remove heater unit attaching bolts, then the heater unit, Fig. 2.
5. Remove heater core from heater unit as shown in Fig. 3.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
