Barometric Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the left side kick panel.

Testing Atmospheric Pressure Sensor:





2. Remove the rubber cap and connect a vacuum pump to the port of the sensor.
3. Turn the ignition switch on.

Atmospheric Pressure Sensor:





4. Check voltage between each terminal and ground while applying and releasing 0-760 mmHg (0-29.9 inHg) of vacuum to the tester and compare results to the chart below.

5. If the voltage at terminals "A", "B", or "C" is not correct, check the wiring harness.
6. If the voltage at terminals "A", "B", and "C" is OK, but terminal "D" is wrong, replace the atmospheric pressure sensor.
