Electric Load Sensor: Description and Operation

Central Processing Unit (CPU):

The Central Processing Unit (CPU), located under the left side of the dash, detects electrical loads and signals the ECU to stabilize engine idle. The CPU detects these loads:

Load Condition and Voltage (1H terminal of ECU)

Headlights "ON" (low or high beam) 0V
Rear defroster "ON" 0V
Blower motor Fan switch high or super high position 0V
