Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

Air Intake Thermosensor Inspection:

The computerized control system on this vehicle utilizes a second intake air thermosensor located in the airflow meter. Refer to AIRFLOW METER in this section.

1. Disconnect intake air thermosensor connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter to sensor terminals.
3. Check sensor resistance. Normal sensor resistance measurements are as follows:

29.7 - 36.3 25°C / 77°F
10.5 - 12.9 50°C / 122°F
3.3 - 3.7 85°C / 185°F
