Power Window Motor: Testing and Inspection

POWER WINDOW SYSTEM






1. Rear console Removal/Installation.
2. Power window switch
3. Power window regulator






ELECTRICAL DIAGRAM






POWER WINDOWS DO NOT OPERATE







ONE POWER WINDOW DOES NOT OPERATE
Turn ignition switch ON
VB: Battery voltage






POWER WINDOW SWITCH
Inspection
1. Check for Continuity between terminals of the switch with an ohmmeter.






2. If not as specified, Replace the switch.






POWER WINDOW REGULATOR
Inspection
1. Connect battery voltage to terminal a and ground terminal b of the motor connector. Verify that the motor operates.
2. Reverse the above connections and check for reverse operation of the motor.
3. If not as specified, replace the motor.
