Heater Core: Service and Repair

Heater Unit Removal
1. Drain the engine coolant.
2. Remove the instrument panel.

3. Remove the nuts and the heater unit.

Heater Unit Disassembly / Assembly

Disassemble and assemble as shown.

Heater Core Inspection

Check for the following and repair or replace parts as necessary.
1. Cracks, damage, or water leakage.
2. Bent fins.
3. Distorted or bent inlet.

Heater Unit Installation
Install in the reverse order of removal.
