Starter Motor: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable.
2.
Raise and support vehicle.
3.
Disconnect
starter motor electrical connectors.
4.
Remove
starter motor bolts and starter motor from vehicle. On some models equipped with automatic transmissions, remove starter motor bracket, bolts and starter motor from vehicle.
5.
Reverse procedure to install.
