Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

Airflow Meter Removal:

1. Disconnect airflow meter connector.
2. Remove air hose.
3. Remove air cleaner cover together with airflow meter.
4. Remove airflow meter and gasket.
5. Mount gasket onto air cleaner housing, being sure that holes "B" are fit over pins "A."
6. Make sure top pointer of gasket faces upward.

Airflow Meter Installation:

7. Install airflow meter and torque mounting nuts to 69 - 95 in lb (7.8 - 11 Nm).

CAUTION: If nuts are tightened below specified torque, they may loosen and cause engine.
