EGR Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

VACUUM SIDE

1. Disconnect vacuum hoses.
2. Blow through either hose and ensure that air does not flow.
3. Unplug electrical connector and connect 12V and a ground to solenoid valve.
4. Blow through either hose and ensure that air now flows.
5. If not as specified, replace solenoid valves.

VENT SIDE
