Neutral Safety Switch: Adjustments

Park/Neutral Switch Adjustment:

1. Remove selector rod from manual shaft lever.
2. Move manual shaft to N range position.
3. Loosen switch mounting bolts.
4. Align holes in switch and manual shaft lever by inserting a pin of approximately 0.157 in (4.0 mm) diameter.
5. Tighten switch mounting bolts to 22 - 35 in lb (2.5 - 3.9 Nm) and remove pin.
6. Recheck continuity. If not correct, replace switch.
7. Install selector rod to manual shaft lever.
